AN ENDURING LEGACY

The Asia Foundation works to strengthen governance and justice by addressing the root causes of political and social conflict in Sri Lanka. Their many programs involve inclusive economic growth and development at subnational and national levels. The organisation
also supports women’s empowerment and increases access to justice through mediated dispute resolution.

The Asia Foundation is now one of the country’s longest established and reputed
NGOs and this book marks seventy years of development work in Sri Lanka.
